4Patriots sells several battery power stations under its Patriot Power line, from small phone-and-lights units to a 2,240 Wh system for whole-home essentials. The names can be confusing, and the lineup mixes new, refurbished, and pre-owned listings. This guide puts every model side by side so you can see which one matches what you actually need to power.

All specifications and prices come from the 4Patriots website, checked October 19, 2026. Prices and stock change often. Our 4Patriots reviews are research-based and have not yet been through our hands-on testing protocol.

Which model should you choose?

For whole-home essentials: Patriot Power 2200X

The largest model, with 2,240 Wh, a 4,400 W stated surge rating, and room to expand. It is the one to consider if you want to run a refrigerator plus lights, internet, and medical devices through a longer outage. Read our 2200X review.

For hands-off refrigerator backup: Blackout Buddy

Designed to stay plugged in behind a fridge or freezer and switch over automatically. Its 600 W output and two outlets limit what else it can run. Read our Blackout Buddy review.

For a portable all-in-one kit: AlphaCase Elite

A briefcase that stores the power station, a 60 W panel, a flashlight, and cords together. Good for phones, lights, a laptop, or a CPAP; small for refrigerator use. Read our AlphaCase Elite review.

For phones and lights: Sidekick

At 298 Wh, the Sidekick is best treated as a large power bank for small devices rather than appliance backup.

Before you buy any 4Patriots model

  • Size your needs first. Use our backup power calculator and read how long a power station will run a refrigerator.
  • Check surge for motor loads. Refrigerators, freezers, and pumps need start-up power above their running wattage.
  • Plan recharging. Included panels range from 60 W to 200 W, which can mean slow solar refills, especially in winter.
  • Get warranty and return terms in writing. Warranty length was not listed on the product pages we checked, and public customer feedback about 4Patriots is mixed, with a Trustpilot TrustScore of 2.4 out of 5 from 542 reviews on October 11, 2026.
  • Compare with other brands. See our 2200X vs. EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max comparison.
