Our take
The AlphaCase Elite packs a 736 Wh LiFePO4 power station, a folding 60 W solar panel, a flashlight, and cords into one hard-shell briefcase. That makes it one of the most grab-and-go kits in the 4Patriots lineup, well suited to phones, lights, a CPAP, and short refrigerator backup. The trade-offs are a high price for its capacity, a small included panel that recharges slowly, only two AC outlets, and key details such as warranty length, dimensions, and input limits that are not on the product page.
Good fit if you
- Want an all-in-one kit you can grab and carry
- Need to power phones, lights, a laptop, or a CPAP
- Value keeping the panel and cords stored together
- Prefer LiFePO4 chemistry
Look elsewhere if you
- Need to run a refrigerator for more than about a day
- Want fast solar recharging
- Are shopping on price per watt-hour
- Need more than two AC outlets

What 736 Wh means in an outage
Using our standard planning estimate of about 85% usable capacity, the AlphaCase Elite would deliver roughly 625 Wh of AC power. These are our estimates, not test results:
- Refrigerator: about 12–15 hours for a fridge using 1.0–1.2 kWh per day. 4Patriots states up to 25 hours for a refrigerator cycling at 120 W, which assumes an efficient model.
- CPAP: 4Patriots lists about 44 hours for a basic 15 W CPAP and 13 hours for a 50 W full-feature CPAP. That is roughly one to several nights, depending on humidifier use. See our CPAP outage guide.
- Phones and laptops: dozens of phone charges, or many hours of laptop use.
Solar recharging is the main limitation. A 60 W panel often produces well below its rating in real conditions, especially in winter, so plan on more than one day of sun to refill the battery. Read how much solar panels produce in winter.

FAQ
Does the AlphaCase Elite include a solar panel?
Yes. A 60 W folding panel is stored inside the case, along with a flashlight and cords.
Can it run a refrigerator?
Its 800 W output covers many refrigerators, but its 736 Wh battery would typically keep one running for well under a day of continuous use. Check start-up surge with your own appliance.
Will you test it?
